NDP 08

This year one was a lil happening.

Was going on the way to the mosque on Friday when I saw school kids forming a line hand to hand along the roads of Toa Payoh. I was sitting at the bus stop when I realized that the class in front of me was a class 1/3 from some secondary school. And their outgoing behaviour, their vigour, their energy, their wilderness(LOL) reminded me of my own secondary school days. From sec 1/3 all the way to 4/3. A life full of 3s eh. Hahahaz. My mom once told me that that was my lucky number. Well, I suppose so.
Anyway, had a meeting later that day. And it turned out alright and infact kinda productive. With Mr Andy around, it was also a meeting full of fun and laughter. Well, its the ties that binds. Its the friendships that keep things going and feel less dreadful. Had dinner after that. At a playground. HAHA. And then I was damn lucky to be on time for my last train. Its freaking horrible if I were to miss that train I tell you. Go home by cab. Its unimaginable. Simply horrific.

Woke up quite late on National Day itself. Slack around before heading out to meet my hockey peeps. Watched the fireworks and had a simple dinner. Well, let the pictures carry on for me. Too lazy to elaborate. Ouh ya, 1 thing. should have gone for cycling la...HAHAHAHA. Nvm.

P.S: I like the song "Shine on me Singapore" a lot. Hahaz.
