What an attitude... Friday, September 29, 2006 |

Ego? Self-centered? Unconcious? Blind?

Maybe.

Hey, you must understand. I only got a mere B3 for my English in O levels. I am not really good with words.

And maybe that's also the reason why I don't argue with people much. I just don't have the perseverance. The perseverance to sustain nonsense. At most I use my most powerful tool. Ignorance. Heh.

Hmm. The second person on the list of _____. What can I say? These kind of people won't give me a break will they? The first person is lucky to have seen his/her name removed from the list.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, I've been tolerating all of it since quite some time ago. And the reason why I didn't say anything is because, I can't be bothered anymore. Why would I waste my brain cells on you, who just don't get it? Unwilling to learn. Unwilling to listen. Unwilling to look at your ownself. Unwilling to change.

When you think the WHOLE MTF(that's my shortform for motherfucking btw) WORLD is against you, you should already have this question registered in your mind:

Have I done/said something wrong?

And NOT, insist that you are always right.

That's the first thing.

The second: If you got nothing or something less, than don't make it as if you got everything or a hell lot more. I ain't living my life to listen to your grandfather stories. I ain't living my life to listen to all your boasts and whatever crap. And don't tell me things that you want to have when you are not even showing me that you are working on it.

I don't mind TALK+ACTION.
I don't mind ACTION only.
BUT I detest TALK only.

Third: Have some responsibilty, please? It's obvious when you push it around. And don't think everyone else in this world is made to clean your shit. Neither are they made to be your protective shield. Grow up. Be a man! Do the right thing! :D

I'm not sure whether that was your retribution.
Or was it your lesson-to-be-taken-note-of.

You want to know why I'm not sure.

That's because the answer is up to YOU.
Its YOUR CHOICE.

Chances have been given.
Time has been allowed.
Conclusion is final.

My Heart
by Irwansyah feat. Acha Septriasa

Disini kau dan aku

terbiasa bersama

menjalani kasih sayang

bahagia kudenganmu

pernahkah kau menguntai

hari paling indahku ukir nama kita berdua

disini surga kita

bila kita mencintai yg lain

mungkin kah hati ini akan tegar

sebisa mungkin tak akan pernah

sayang ku akan hilang

if u love somebody

could we be this strong

i will fight to win

our love will conquer all

wouldn't risk my love

even just one night

our love will stay in my heart

my heart

I've sworn that I'll try my best not to complicate things. I don't want it to be.

Orienteering comp |

Last activity before the fasting month.

Orienteering comp. Quite jia lat. Very few Clts from West came down. But it was fine.

Nothing much to share about. Just that I didn't expect to see her again. :) Happy la...Lolx..

Anyway, not expecting anything lor...I'm always on duty anyway so must ask the DC, "so how?"
Oh ya, I was pissed with this certain bugger school who thinks that they are so clever and that we are damn stupid ah. KNN...This school is a good example of a school which wants everything great and nothing bad. They just want to have the good stuff and when asked to do labour and manual job, they run away and take cover like someone you-know who-la. Bastards...the TO oso same...airholes...Carry food also don't want. Only want to have the privileges only. And then want to cheat oso don't know how to cheat (Nothing regarding today). Si bei sia lan...stupid also got limit la...wah lao..think people blind ah?? Wah..buay tahan....

But overall, ok la...let the f-ed up go f-o. The CSS cadets didn't really do very well. But I told them its ok. In the end I rather see them bonded as 1 rather than scolding each other...

So ya la...

Haizz.....*Shakes head*

Range. Friday, September 22, 2006 |

Had live range. Super duper enjoyable.

Was surprised to know that only 4 CLTs were available to help out. And Syafiq and Wei Quan came later with the Teck Whye cadets. The strength of the shooters were also small. Can say that there were enough CLTs to handle the stuff.

When we were setting up the range, something funny happened. Each lane there is one foxhole. The foxhole is covered with a wooden plank. And when WL stepped on one corner of it, his leg actually broke into it. We were quite shocked for that moment but not really surprised because the place is quite old. It was funny la cuz WL is big sized. Lolx...sorry la..I know I'm mean. :)
Anyway, the lane had to be closed becasue of that. Hahaz..in a way, WL has also sacrificed himself for the cadets. Lolx...

And then, the cadets came and saw some of the Ophir peeps again. And at the last detail (group of shooters), some of the CLTs could join in for the life range. Then the DC wanted the few of us to volunteer for the upcoming shooting competition. -___- In a way, we just kena con la...

But it was a good shoot. When I did my zeroing, my shots were below the canadian bull but I was happy with the grouping(ie the longest distance between any 2 shots that were fired). The shots were grouped together and all the 8 shots hit the target. So what was needed to be done was to aim a bit higher so that the target will be hit.

So for the last 2 rounds of firing( the ones that determine the marksmanship), we had to shoot a target called Fig. 12. the first round. All shots on the forehead. But then I forgot, the head got helmet!!...Lolx...but nvm la..haha..then the second round it was all grouped at the bottom left. So all in all ok la...

Its not really a big thing la to be a marksman in NCC especially for me as a CLT cuz no.1, it is only 25 meters. 2. Most of the CLTs are marksmen. 3. Since we are CLTs, most of us had done it before. =)

And then after everything finished, me cm wl and clement went to pack up all the stuff. Cleaned the rifle and joked around in between. It was fun la...

And I actually find clearing the rifle to be quite fun also...hahaz.. :)

Ok la..got orienteering comp for tomorrow. will be on duty.

PRETTY good day Thursday, September 21, 2006 |

This week is full of NCC activities. Had range yesterday and having it again tomorrow. IMT was at PLC today. And this Sat is the orienteering comp.

My title for this blog entry is '' PRETTY good day ''

ok, maybe you guys read on and then maybe you can understand what I'm trying to say. I went to PLC today with the Fuhua cadets and CLTs and when we reached there, a few schools had already arrived. I didn't know the strength of the shooters before hand so it was quite surprising. But fortunately there were enough CLTs around to run the show. And thankfully, there were'nt any major cock-ups. So when I reached there, I saw a cadet who recently went to the Mt Ophir trip. And then I noticed the female SSG beside him. She is short. But damn cute la...haix...lolx..ok..so that is the initial part. After that, another school came. And they were from Nan Hua. The boys AND the girls. LOLZ. AND their female TO was there too. I didn't expect to see them again. Hahahaz...oh ya...about their female TO, I find her quite pretty la...lol...

The biggest bad point to me was that the people in charge of the IMT refuse to open a second chamber. If not everything would have run at a faster rate. But then, we accepted the situation and just make do with what we had. Everything ended at around 5.30pm and I think it was the fastest we could go given that there were about 300 plus shooters. And we only started at around 2pm.

After that we went back to HQ to settle some stuff. On the way home, I decided to call the supplier for the CSS NCC tee. And what the heck? They had actually replied to my e-mail but then its not in my stupid inbox. Shucks...But then the good news was really good news. The tee only cost a freaking 9 bucks. I was really happy about that la... =)

On the whole, today was okay. There were a few eye candies for me to see.

Oh ya, I think some of the TOs remebered or at least know my name. They better remember it for a good reason. Hahahaz..that is if they do remember in the first place la...

Puasa is coming soon...its time to change for the better. :-)

year 1 sem 1 exam results Wednesday, September 13, 2006 |

Wokay...today after going school, went to GEYLANG with Marcus. If you think that the word GEYLANG is capitalised, then its only because your eyes are playing tricks on you. Hehe...

Ok la...went there to see t-shirt printing shop la...if u think something else not my problem.. =) anyway, we were kinda scared to go to the building because it was soooooo run down...if you take the MRT towards Pasir Ris, you can see it...they are the buildings right before Paya Lebar MRT Station...from the outside, it looks like it has the potential of housing drug addicts, illegal immigrants and possibly prostitutes...it just look so old...then we went to 7th floor cuz that's where the shop is bah...haha..the place is like in the 70s kind u see but then ya..it was the corect shop...erm...they sell it cheap there but I'm not really sure of the quality...

I got my exams results today, I got a couple of As and the rest are like Bs or B+s... GPA is 3.35....frankly I got nothing to celebrate about...but I must say I can now heave a sigh of relieve...no need to take Supplementary papers... :)

Well, with the results released my holidays are really holidays now..haha... :)

And that 2nd guy frm the right sang some chinese song during the dinner...it was so cool man...haha..his name is danial and the right most guy is Shafeeq....played street soccer wif him before...I think there were some other cute girls la but then they were rushing packing their instruments and the rest of us rushing to go home(translation: siam-ing from something we should not be doing...)

Oh yes..I guess that pic makes me feel a lil betta..hahaz... :)

Mt Ophir the second Friday, September 08, 2006 |

Back from Mt Ophir.

It was a freaking good trip!!! hahaz... :D

Nevermind the sweat. Nevermind the tears. Nevermind the pain and scracthes. Cause we ALL made it!!!

Yeah, was glad that everyone made it there and back safely. Surely there were hiccups along the way but then, which activity or expedition doesn't?

I am tired now. Lethargic and sleepy. But I just can't wait for tomorrow to write these stuff down.

It was the FIRST time in my history that the teachers and CLTs (plus the medic and Mdm Chan) actually had a pretty good relationship and solid teamwork! WOHOO!!!

I really am happy about it. Thinking of those times we just exchange jokes with one another makes me feel that the impossible had just happened. And the best thing was that on that night, we thrash things out. No hard feelings. And each one of us receive the comments and feedbacks with open hearts and minds. We being civilised people talk things out and discuss it man to man. All of us agree that till now, the relationship between CLTs and teacher officers should be improved and the West District Mount Ophir Phase 3(September) Expedition had just proven that its possible. So yes. Hopefully, this tradition of having good relationship will be passed on from time to time or rather, from activity to activity.

Secondly, I'm kinda sad Mdm Chan, our Customer Service Officer (CSO) had left. She is really fantastic but then the problems we are having in NCC are just too much. Its sickening.

For this trip, the cadets have been great too. Maybe there are a few rascals and attitude-giving cadets but then I feel it's just normal. Some are really self-motivated and most displayed magnificent teamwork to the extent of proving that gigantic-sized people are able to make it to the top. Truthfully speaking, the first time I saw the cadets that Monday night, I was prepared mentally that some MIGHT not be able to make it. What more, on Tuesday when we did the obstacle course, some had difficulty overcoming them. But lo and behold, WE made it. Its simple as that. WE MADE IT. There wasn't a need for record breaking timing what-so-ever.

So yeah, 90% of the trip was good.It is indeed a trip that I had enjoyed most so far. The team dynamics was unexpectedly good.

Just as a record I shall now declare the other portion of the 10% in brief.

1. The breakfast for the first day i.e the day when we set off from Hq, was bloody late. I was scolding all sorts of vulgarities inside my head. It was a bad way to start the day. And it feels even worse when you just can't do anything about it. It makes me feel sometimes that NCC should just f off...

2. Smoking cadets. I need not elaborate more. But we did tackle the main problem.

3. Evil spirits. I was definitely more than irritated and angry when it disturbed the cadets. And what's worse was I couldn't do anything about it. I should have been disciplined enough to conduct my prayers and seek for protection. Damn. You will feel the heavy responsibility for the well-being of the cadets when you become a CLT. We are responsible for their safety and yet we CANNOT pamper them. That's the tough part.

4. Rubbish. WTF? Can't they (the districts responsible for it) just throw the reubbish bags at the proper designated area? It is just a couple of hundred more meters and yet you guys can't do it? Already the name of NCC is being tarnished from incident to incident and yet you guys comtributed more to it... Haiz...

Yep...that's the main stuff...

When we reached Jurong Point just now, it was a relief. Had dinner with the Kranji cadets and the other CLTs. It was short yet fun. When I stepped down from the bus, saw my EVO car...okay..its nit mine but yar...a cool EVO car...hahaz...after which I suddenly spotted so many chio bus...I was surprised....haha...

Whatever it is a good end to a good trip.

And thanks Mdm Chan for the t-shirts. Thanks a lot.

::: 81 minds. 1 goal. THE summit. :::

Mt Ophir- Back after 2 years Sunday, September 03, 2006 |

Will be going up Mt Ophir again. The last time I did was 2 years ago as a cadet. Now I'm going up as a CLT. I don't think there'll be much of a difference.

Feeling rather emo right now. Hahaha...still remember, can't forget. Whatever that had happened then. It was liberating. I hope it'll be the same feeling this time.

Will be in camp by tomorrow night. Off to Malaysia by the next day.

So yeah. Pray for a safe journey there and back. :)

Teachers Day |

Supposed to blog this a few days ago but then I was had no mood to do it. Haha...I don't know why. It has only been a few days into the holidays and I'm already lazing around doing nothing.

I've list out the things I wanted to do during this holidays but I haven't settle myself down to doing it. I'll be just letting it all get eaten up by procrastination just like what happened last hols if I don't do something soon. Haiz.. :(

Anyway, went to get my hair cut today with CM. And yea....I like the way my hair is now, haha...but its the opposite for CM...hahaz.. even though the hairdresser we got was the same. Lols...

Oh ya, my main entry is actually regarding the Teachers Day eve on Thursday. I didn't feel like going at first but after xq jiao me to go with david, I decided to just pop by. I'll frequent CSS anyway for NCC trainings so ya...it didn't really matter...

I enjoyed myself a lot...the performance was ok...but the ppl who went back to watch seemed so lifeless...it's like they were force to be there or smt...or mayb everyone was just reminiscing the past...lolx... the highlight came when we met Mdm Ros...and the 4/3 peeps were there outside the HOD talking among ourselves...there's so much to talk abt...and then Mdm Ros suddenly asked me where I'm studying now...i was like 'errm..errmm'..haha...was actually thinking of smt corny la but then cannot haha..anyway, there were like other ppl from our snr sports class so ya...a bit paiseh la...then I dunno why but I 'kept saying wrong things that morning' as quted from Mdm Ros...LOL lor...hahaha...

After tt, went to eat at jec...and then pool...yeah...had loads of fun before heading home...hopefully there'll be more of such times in the future..some pics...yeah..the ones tt I like more la..haha...
