Back to HQ. Sunday, January 27, 2008 |

Will pop back into HQ tomorrow for the first camp feast of the year. Its been quite a while since I last stayed overnight there. Late nights. Craziness. Havoc. McDonalds. Chilling night winds. Damn-spoilt-no-remote-control-aircon. And a hell lot of other stuff pretty much worth remembering. :)

Anyways, going for the camp meaning taking off from school for a couple of days. Will have a backload of work but I guess I sort off need the break. The different projects overlapping each other these days are taking a toll. Sucks big time. Nevertheless it won't be long till the semester's over. And I'm very much looking forward to that.

Side track a bit. I don't usually adore artists but recently, I can suddenly find interest in Radja, and Indonesian boy band, Anuar Zain and Taufik Batisah. The one common thing I like about them. I can see that they are very sincere and passionate when delivering their music. Cool stuff. And of course their music is great too.

Ok, was talking to Clement on msn and he wants me to write on why/why not should one go for CSS NCC trainings on Fridays.

Let us not concentrate on the answer or in this case the reasons. Let's focus more on the process of arriving at that decision on an individual, personal basis.

Yes>No= Go
No>Yes=Don't Go

1. Do you enjoy being there?
2. Are you needed there?
3. Is it beneficial to you and the people there?
4. Is there a difference if you're there?
5. Will you die if you don't go?

For the record, I'm tired of talking about the above mention issue. I'd rather look at how CSS NCC was in the past. For the present, I'd rather excuse myself.

Shocked. Monday, January 07, 2008 |

Recently I saw the Evo X on the streets.

Next was the latest Impreza.

But hell, today I saw a couple of Golfs and tuned roaring Imprezas within the streets.
Another but. But that was not all.

What really shocked me was the Audi R8 coming out of the multi-storey carpark.

Here you have 1 god damn car which easily costs you hal a mil and blocks of flats which I think costs even lesser. I think I was probably hallucinating. Probably.

Please tell me he doesn't own that shit.

Hehe. Saturday, January 05, 2008 |

Actually I got nothing to type about. First week of school is ending and yeah, life's a little mundane.
Watched some documentary just now. And it brought me to realize that the world is actually moving back to its "original" form. Eventually there'll be a day where humans cease to exist. Due to extreme climate which is brought about by the movement of plates. Its pretty scary come to think of it.

And also have been keeping my ears on the radio recently. A few days ago the DJs from Ria were dicussing stuff about men, women and marriages.

Just some rough idea of something that I remember:

Will you willing to be in the state of sharing a piece of bread with your husband/wife?

I don't know what impact the above mentioned has on you but for me it sure reminds me of something. And that is its difficult to find someone who's like that these days. I'm wondering if such love stories will still live on as the world moves on into the years. It's nice to hear of such stuff happening in reality. Sacrifices huh.

Anyway, on a lighter note, I watched "Kiamat sudah dekat". I find it kinda funny la. But a bigger plus point is that the female lead looks damn sweet la. Woots! Hehehes XD

How I wish I have a girlfriend as sweet... :)

07/08 Tuesday, January 01, 2008 |

This year's transition to the next wasn't that a big hoo-ha for me. Just stayed at home and watched TV. Shakthi and Grace told me the hockey peeps are going Clarke Quay to celebrate new year but I gave it a miss as I'm broke. :( Anyway, my mom will give me the nags and so I'd rather not allow it.

I was finding my 2007's resolutions but somehow I don't know what happened it. Anyway, I think what I like about 2007 is that I don't really have major regrets. :) In fact I did some stuff which I had been hoping to do. Let's see some of the major stuff.

1. Joined TP hockey team. Like finally.
2. Went for Brunei Jungle Training.
3. West got champs for CQ.
4. Divert my attention to more impt stuff.
5. POL-ITE games.

The rest I probably can't remember or don't want to.

Actually I see 3 kinds of new years.

1. The normal calendar's new year.
2. The islamic calendar's new year.
3. The school(polytechnic)'s new year. i.e when the next academic year begins

For me the new year that I look forward to most would be the last one. Yeah, a year older in poly means a year closer to graduation. Come to think of it, I can't believe I've made it this far. But hell yeah I did. And I believe I've said that before and will be saying it again when I graduate. :)

So a big hellow to 2008.

Big events forecasted will be the trip to Cambodia. Hopefully I'll go. As in as of now its confirmed but anything can happen right? And I hope to go Endau Rompin at least once before I end my life in NCC. I'm not very optimistic about that due to my programme in 3rd year. Yup.

Resolutions:

1. Prepare for NS. In terms of fitness wise. At least won't go there and struggle that much.
2. Full press on studies since its going to be my last year soon.
3. Do what I want and hell to what others say. Actually, not that many are putting me down but the thought of them is enough to piss me off.
4. And of course, to enjoy myself. :)

Ouh. I realized I've yet to blog about Sunday's outing.

I'll just summarise. Morning was Sentosa outing with West CLTs. It was havoc la but fun. And Sentosa has some sort of babe magnet. It was a good eye therapy for me. But there's one thing I don't like and that is the water! Its freaking salty la...LOL.

Anyway, had to leave early with Shannon. I was off to Shahid's house to get his help with my project and Shannon was off to work. Almost missed the bus stop beacause I was sleeping. Just wake up when the bus pulled over. After some time, finally finished it and off we go to class dinner. By the way, Shahid and his family are nice people. :)

Class dinner was ok. Spent a bomb. I had to resort to using my allowance for January. But anyhow, most of the guys were present and ok la...at least I enjoyed the company. Then me and Shahid left first. He wanted to reach home early and I was just too tired.

To the guys going NS. Enjoy and have fun! That's the only way to reduce the struggle. Hahaz...

I suppose I'll never am able to forget.
