1st few days at poly

Yesterday was my first day in school... hmm..not bad for a start...just that there's a lot of admin things to do...need to buy this la...get that la...what more I'm the kuku class rep...luckily I'm not bombarded with a lot of work yet...

I find that I'm starting to like my campus and that the journey to school isn't really that long...well, Singapore is small no matter how much shit they pile to increase the square meters. Though my school is relatively far as compared to others, I don't find it a disadvantage for me.

The people there at Temasek are rather friendly on the whole. On my first day, while exploring the place alone before meeting up with Kenny, I chanced upon a lecturer there and we exchanged a few words. Then I met some other NCC guys form the CLT course and yeah...the place is just vibrant.

My timetable is ok for now. Infact, I like my timetable. Somehow, I feel that time is moving faster than before. The longest day for me will be on thursdays....lessons start at 9 and end at 5. That's like freaking long but then, the next day is a Friday. Meaning school ends at 12. And after that, my weekend starts off...Even though Thursday is a tiring day, I could look forward to the next day and knowing that my weekends are around the corner, I won't feel so bad. :)

Lessons are pretty interesting. Some are repetitions of sec school's work but I don't mind because I myself need to refresh my mind. What more, due to some personal reason, I couldn't really store those bits of information into my mind. What a waste.

I think studying in poly will be my cup of tea. And I like the normal academic system of having tests and exams and coursebooks. Based on a friend who went to MI for the first 3 months, it is similar to a JC life with lectures, tutorials and exams. If tests and exams don't exist how in hell are we going to assessour capabilities? I just find them necessary.

Now my target is to be able to take the Aerospace Engineering option next semester because that's the reason why I chose to come to TP to do Mechatronics. Hopefully I could. I started with the right mindset and spirit so hopefully things will go the way I want it to.

Today, I saw more pretty girls as compared to yesterday. But then, I was thinking, how in hell can I get to know them when I don't even know which school of study they are from? Well, one, I could just go up to them. And two, participate in more of TP's activities and big events. And I think I'll pick the latter. :) Whatever it is, my aim of going to go to school is to study. So ya, for that other aspect of my life, I'll just leave it to nature to steer the way. I just don't want history to repeat itself.

Oh ya, about the lessons...I'll continue from just now. Maths is back to haunt me!!!! LOLX...But I'm not that afraid because I've undergone A-maths lessons before so, it should be ok since some will be repetitions. Just now the lecture on Digital Fundamentals was interesting. Learned on Binary Systems and at some point...everyone became confused. Read some more of the other coursebooks and I found this thing which has a sort of farnie name...its BOOLEAN'S EXPRESSIONS....hmm what does it look like? Like this, O__0""??? Ok the temperature's dropping...

So ya, that's roughly it...I hope I can start playing hockey soon...my hands are getting itchy seh...my eyes are getting sore eyes because I can't see the pitch yet I know its a throw stone's away...my legs are getting cramps because I've not been running...my mouth is swelling because I can't shout with a valid reason...and worst of all...my stick is rotting cause it can't hit those motherf*****g ballS !!!!!!!

You don't have to carry my hairy balls. Pardon me for the foul language.... :P
