Finally...thanks coach!

Had a great time training yesterday. I must say it was the most enjoyable training I had so far after weeks of training with the hockey team. Training took the form of a friendly against CJC. It was okay. We won.

But like what the coach, Danker, said "The goals doesn't matter today." Simply because it was just a match to get us used to more games. Though we scored in the first half, I find the gameplay on our side was quite terrible. Me included of course. Everyone seems to be suffering from some hangover or something. Slow reaction. Moving and passing without thinking and so on so forth. Well, that was the beginning.

I think we played a bit better subsequently.

But that was not the issue that is of utmost importance to me. What was more important to me was the short talk the coach gave after the first half. I'm glad that he is aware of the problems with the team and he had address them clearly. Its because I find that I am in no position to "correct" the other players though some of you might argue that I'm in the team, of course I deserve to say something. But no, I don't buy that(due to some factors). Anyway, I'm just relieved that the coach said the things that I've long to say to the team. I just can't find the correct time and don't know the correct approach. Earning a stigma is the last thing I want. Anyway, its said so I just hope our team take it in our own stride and make some improvements. Well, at least I have lots of work to do.

After that, went to have lunch with the team and headed for home thereafter. Went out again after abt an hour later to go BACK to the eastern part of Singapore. I took the green line for like the 3rd time! Okay, not a lot la but sian lei...LOL. Went to Aloha Loyang for some BBQ and I and a few others decided to popped over to the Red House for a short visit. It was around 7 plus mind you. But we saw nothing nor feel anything. We didn't mean to do any harm anyway so I guess it was alright. Left for home at around 11 only to find that we missed the last train home! Crap. Taxi it is. Then to cut costs, I had to stop a bit further from home so that the taxi could make a turn to the expressway to send the others home. Anyway, I enjoyed my 20 mins plus walk home. And the sight of sports cars leaving their shells on a Saturday night got my hormones raging. Woots! :)

I guess that's it for Saturday. Left me with not much time for school work. Darn it.

Sitting on the bench today(I was standing though) gave me something. I rediscovered the passion for the game. I feel the surge again to do my best in the game. That's something to be relieved about. For I nearly lost it. I nearly lost my passion.

Pass me the ball. Trust me, so that I can have more faith in me.
